Associate Professor of Accounting Gary McCombs passed away suddenly Sunday morning, April 20, 2008 . Gary taught at EMU for almost 30 years and was very engaged with his students and colleagues. Arrangements are through McCabe Funeral Home on North Canton Center Rd. in Canton , MI , see Visitations will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 4-8PM and on Wednesday April 23, 2008 from 11AM-1PM with a service at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 1PM . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the "Great Teachers in Accounting Endowed Scholarship in Memory and Honor of Gary B.
